Today ,I am giving details about technology concepts of Jaquar virtual GT sports car.
When company says it's releasing a concept car but the concept is only in video game , people around the office letting out audible groans to sighs. When Jaquar does it, and the concept looks like the vision Gran Turismo, it's a bit as a different story.
The first time this car will be used by the players in the latest round of Sony's Gran Turismo world tour being held at the Tokyo motor show.
Jaquar take on the theme is a long, coupe with classic proportions.
Jaquar now joins brands such as Buggati, Mercedes -Benz, BMW, Nissan , Mc Laren and koiensegg agera . This car utilized alternative forms of propulsion and aerodynamics.
In case you're unfamiliar with the whole idea of "Vision GT", it's a series of vechile designs based on a challenge by the creators of Gran Turismo game series to manufacturers to design their ideal grand touring cars .
Things such as physics, budgets or even ergonomics could be given a complete pass when designing this car. The cabin can only accessed via a lift up roof that incorporates a single windowscreen wrapped around the centre of the canopy .
The lighting elements are thin strips of led throughout and sharp lines and creases are almost negligent.
Mechanically, at least in the virtual world , the vision will be powered by three electric motors producing 750kW which is totally produce not by real cars 1006 horsepower and 885 found -feet of torque which is genearlly 1200Nm of torque .
The company said the car weigh just about 1400kg(3086.47lb) and Jaquar says it will do an utterly fictional 0-60 mph sprint in 2 seconds. On the inside , the driver, sits in a cockpit wrapped around them with a very futuristic console surrounding them included argumented reality side glass .The glass will help alert the dangers and obstacles . The instrument cluster is a transparent glass displaying 3 d information. The car also gets an Artificial Intellegence (AI) system called kIIT-E.
But the fictional Tokyo expressways track as our virtual circuit was a challange because of some sharp corners when passing with 200 mph.
"This project is led by Jaquar young designers and represents a once in a lifetime opportunity for them to create a vechile steeped in our incredible heritage but publishing the boundaries of future design and Julian Thomson, newly minled design director for Jaquar in a statement.
" The team have done an incredible job in creating something which is clearly identifies as a Jaquar, inspired but not contrained - iconic past".
Let us hope that some of these blue sky ideas spill over into the real world as well.
